Educator of the Year Award
The Educator of the Year Award is given to an educator who has made noteworthy contributions to the teaching and clinical application in the field of strength training and conditioning. The nominee should meet all the requirements of leadership and contribution to the education of general strength and conditioning, exercise and sport science, and enhancement of the discipline within the NSCA as well as outside the Association.
Nominees must be active members of the NSCA for at least three years.
Nominees will be selected based on the following contributions
- Number of years teaching
- Clinician involvement
- NSCA Involvement, including authoring, presentations, and serving on committees
- Individual course development
- Program/ curriculum development
- Clinics or exams hosted
- Authoring of books, videos, and/or chapters
- Volunteer efforts
Nominations will be accepted from August 1st through December 15th. The winner will be presented the award at the National Conference the following year.
