Learn the principles to help your athletes increase their performance on the field or court! The Fly Solo Program can help you improve your coaching skills on the major lifts, drills, and performance tests in your high school program.
Prior to attending the 8-hour, hands-on camp you will be asked to study the FREE online Flight Manual to learn the NSCA’s Four Step Philosophy and Ten Program Principles to improve performance.
This Fly Solo Camp is hosted and facilitated by Boyd Epley Coaching Performance Director and Coaching Performance Coordinator Jake Wurth. Register online and follow the five steps.
Mentor Training Course & Administrative Procedures – $198
Wednesday July 14th, 2010 – 8:00 am to 4:00 pm in conjunction with the Fly Solo Camp
and Thursday, January 15th, 2010 – 8:00 am to 10:00 am
CSCS and NSCA-CPT current members in good standing with the National Strength and Conditioning Association are eligible to become Mentors of the Fly Solo Program. NSCA Mentors offer Fly Solo Camps for high school and middle school coaches. By becoming an NSCA Fly Solo Mentor you are distinguishing yourself as a leader in athletic development and have the opportunity to generate some additional income. Coaches pay $99 to attend your camps with $79 of the camp fee going to the Mentor.
After completing the Mentor Training Course, Mentors earn a three year Mentor Certificate. Requirements: Hosting a minimum of two Fly Solo Camps per year and participation in NSCA Index Competitions. Mentor Candidates Register online and follow the four steps.
