Mike Kasales is an adjunct professor with the University of Denvers Master of Arts in Sport Coaching program and is currently pursuing his doctoral (PhD) degree. After 28 years of active-duty service to the Nation, commanding a brigade combat team in Afghanistan, and establishing the Armys Tactical Athlete Program at Fort Carson, Colorado he retired from the U.S. Army as a Colonel. His coaching experience includes S&C coach at the University of Denvers Sport Performance Program, the University of Texas-Austin Athletic Performance Center, and at Southwestern University. He was also an assistant womens lacrosse coach at Southwestern University. He holds a B.A. and two M.A. degrees. His certifications include USAW Advance Sport Performance Coach (Level 2), USAW Program Design, US Lacrosse Level 3 Womens Lacrosse Coach, USADA, and SafeSport.
