Jason DeMayo is in his 13th year as a Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of Richmond, and his 12th year working with the mens basketball team. DeMayo is directly responsible for the strength training, conditioning, and flexibility development of the mens and womens basketball teams. He also educates the student-athletes on the proper nutrition to make sure their bodies are performing to their full potential. On top of his responsibilities at the University of Richmond, he is also the Dry Land Coordinator for NOVA Aquatics, LLC, where he coached 2016 Olympic Gold Medalist, Townley Haas. He came to the University of Richmond from Indiana State University, where he was a graduate assistant during the 2002 2003 academic year.
The NSCA is a recognized 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit dedicated to advancing strength and conditioning research and education for all people.
