Matthew Moreno graduated from California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. He is a currently a masters student at California State University, Fullerton, and has an emphasis in strength and conditioning. Moreno is currently conducting research into the health and fitness characteristics of custody assistants and deputy sheriffs, and the effects of academy training on these characteristics. In addition to his tactical research, Moreno has conducted research into strength and conditioning and team sports, and also coaches rock climbing.
The NSCA is a recognized 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit dedicated to advancing strength and conditioning research and education for all people.
