Scott Charland is the Manager of Human Performance for Parkview Health Sports Medicine, which is a not-for-profit health system located in Fort Wayne, IN. Charland oversees a team of performance specialists charged with the task of providing performance training and nutrition services to numerous local youth sports clubs, area high schools, and regional colleges and universities. He has 20 years of experience in the strength and conditioning profession including time spent as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for Olympic Sports at Temple University and as the Director of Strength and Conditioning at Saint Louis University. Charland has also worked as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at both Butler University and The Ohio State University. Charland is a certified member of the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa), National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), United States of America Weightlifting (USAW), and United States of America Track and Field (USATF).
The NSCA is a recognized 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit dedicated to advancing strength and conditioning research and education for all people.
