Brian Gearity is Director and Professor of the Master of Arts inSport Coaching Program and the Graduate Certificate in Strengthand Conditioning and Fitness Coaching at the University of Denver.Gearity has been a strength and conditioning coach for youth, highschool, collegiate, and professional athletes. He is Editor-in-Chieffor NSCA Coach and Associate-Editor-in-Chief for the Strengthand Conditioning Journal. Published by Routledge in 2020, heco-edited the book, Coach Education and Development in Sport:Instructional Strategies and co-authored, Understanding Strengthand Conditioning as Sport Coaching: Bridging the Biophysical,Pedagogical and Sociocultural Foundations of Practice.
