Jason Mims is the Health and Safety Officer for the City of Milwaukee Fire Department (MFD). He completed his Bachelors degree in Health Care Sociology from Marquette University in 1999. Mims has served in the field of public health and safety for 13 years, which includes nine in the United States Army, and seven with the MFD. Mims joined the MFD in 2006 and now oversees the health and safety of roughly 1,000 active-duty firefighters, cadets, recruit trainees, as well as civilian personnel. He also manages the Wellness Fitness Initiative (WFI) Program at the MFD.
The NSCA is a recognized 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit dedicated to advancing strength and conditioning research and education for all people.
