Dan Dalrymple has been the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for New Orleans Saints (NFL) since 2006. During this time, the Saints boast a team record of 146-93, and have made seven playoff appearances, three National Football Conference (NFC) Championship game appearances, won six NFC South Division Championships and one Super Bowl Championship. Dalrymple was named the NFL Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year by the Professional Football Strength and Conditioning Coaches Society in 2009 and again in 2018. Dan was named 2009 Samson Strength and Conditioning NFL Coach of the Year award from American Football Monthly. 27 Saints players have been selected to the Pro Bowl during Dalrymple's tenure, 20 for the first time in their National Football League careers. Prior to joining the Saints, Dalrymple spent the previous 17 seasons in a similar capacity at Miami University in Oxford, OH, including the last 16 years as the Director of Athletic Conditioning. He was promoted with the additional title of Assistant Athletic Director in 2003. Dalrymple was the NSCA's Mid American Conference Strength and Conditioning Professional of the Year in 1995, 1997, and 1999. He coauthored the book, The Athletic Body Puzzle.
