Matthew McAllister is an Assistant Professor and the Director of theMetabolic and Applied Physiology Laboratory in the Departmentof Health and Human Performance at Texas State University.McAllister has an established research agenda investigating theimpact of psychological and physiological stressors in high stress,tactical occupations. The aim of his work is to study the impact ofoccupational stressors and examine training and dietary methodsto mitigate the physiological impact.
