Donald E. Maib, Jr.

Coach Donnie Maib is beginning his 27th year as a Strength and Conditioning Coach. He began his coaching career at the University of Colorado in 1994 where he trained all varsity teams while at Colorado, he helped many athletes obtain All-Conference as well as All-American accolades. From 1998 until present, Coach Maib has been at the University of Texas, where he is currently the Head Coach for Athletic Performance (Olympic Sports). As a director at Texas, Coach Maib oversees and manages 6 other performance staff and oversees 3 weight rooms. In his tenure at Texas, Coach Maib has worked with a variety of sports including; Football, Womens Track, Mens and Womens Golf, Womens Soccer, Mens Tennis, and Womens Volleyball. Donnie has been married 25 years to his wonderful wife Karen and they have four beautiful girls Isabel, Anna, Evelyn, and Olivia.
