Rock Gullickson is a retired 40-year coaching veteran, including 17-seasons as an NFL strength and conditioning coach with the St. Louis (and Los Angeles) Rams, Green Bay Packers, and New Orleans Saints. Before the NFL, Gullickson served as a collegiate coach for 22 seasons. He spent time at Louisville, Texas, Rutgers, Montana State, and South Dakota where he earned his masters degree. Gullickson began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at his alma mater Moorhead State University in 1978, followed by two years as an assistant football coach, head track and field coach, and strength coach at Mayville State University in North Dakota. Gullickson was named the NFL Strength Coach of the Year in 2007, and received the Professional Football Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (PFSCCS) Lifetime Achievement Award in 2020. He finished his collegiate coaching career as the Director of Strength and Conditioning for the University of Tennessee in 2017 and has since volunteered with local high school strength and conditioning programs.
