Tim Red Wakeham is in his 28th year of strength and conditioning. Currently, Wakeham is the Director of Olympic Sports at Michigan State University (MSU). He is also an adjunct instructor for the Department of Kinesiology. Wakeham has worked with all of MSUs 25 sports and has been with the Spartans for 18 years. He is a Master Strength and Conditioning Coach (MSCC) with the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa) and has been certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Wakeham earned his Bachelors degree from Northern Michigan University and his Masters degree from the University of North Dakota. Prior to his current position, he served as the Coordinator of Strength, Conditioning, and Fitness at Michigan Technological University. Wakeham is a well-known speaker throughout the country and an established author, having had more than 50 articles published (two national cover articles) along with three book chapters. He also has experience at the NFL, NHL, UFC, and Olympic levels.
