Doug Berninger received his Masters degree in kinesiology from Bowling Green State University and has completed internships at Athletes Performance (Gulf Breeze), NSCA Headquarters, Olympic Training Center (Colorado Springs), and the University of Michigan. He is a competitive weightlifter with bests of 102kg in the snatch and 130kg in the clean and jerk as a 77kg lifter and has qualified to compete in the American Open for the first time this coming December.
The NSCA is a recognized 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit dedicated to advancing strength and conditioning research and education for all people.
