Bill Foran is the longest-tenured strength and conditioning coach in professional sports history. He served as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach with the Miami Heat since its inception in 1988. Since 2022, Foran has continued with the Heat as a Strength and Conditioning Consultant. Foran was named the first ever NBA Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year in 2009,?and to the USA Strength and Conditioning Hall of Fame in 2014. He was the NSCA Professional Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year in 2017, and later won the NBSCA Lifetime Achievement Award in 2021, an award now named in his honor. Foran is the author of 5 Books and is renowned international speaker on coaching and strength and conditioning topics. His career began with stops at Washington State University, from 1981-1985, and the University of Miami from 1985-1989.
