Kevin Fisher started his journey in higher education by earning dual Bachelors degrees from the University of Virginia in Government and Psychology. After briefly working in the public school sector, he pursued a Master of Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in Sport and Exercise Psychology, followed by a Doctorate from the University of Tennessee that centered on Motor Learning and Performance. Dr. Fisher has held the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification from the NSCA since 2017. Previously, he held the Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator (TSAC-F) and a Level 2 Golf Certification from the Titleist Performance Institute. He is currently employed as an associate professor at Central Michigan University in the Department of Physical Education and Sport, and his primary courses focus on motor behavior, performance psychology, and strength and conditioning. In addition to his academic duties, he is a member of the Michigan Army National Guard.
