Garrett Kendall currently serves as a performance physical therapist at EXOS headquarters in Phoenix, AZ. At EXOS, Kendall manages the care of high-level athletes through a holistic approach, utilizing a movement-based approach for both assessments and exercise. He holds several certifications in Functional Movement Techniques (FMT) via RockTape, blood flow restriction training, sports manual therapy via Institute of Athlete Regeneration, and also has a background in strength and conditioning as an EXOS Performance Specialist (XPS) and as a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Kendall completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Wingate University, where he also received his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. He was 4-year letterman for Wingate Universitys NCAA DII lacrosse team. Before returning to complete his doctorate degree program, he worked as a certified athletic trainer for several years within the Upstate of South Carolina. During this time, he was the Head Athletic Trainer for two different local community schools, while also providing sports medicine coverage for USA cycling, USA karate, and other community events.
The NSCA is a recognized 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit dedicated to advancing strength and conditioning research and education for all people.
