Ty Wheeler is a Lieutenant with the Johnston-Grimes (IA) Metropolitan Fire Department and Part-Time Fire Chief in Granger, IA with more than 13 years in the fire service. He has an Associates degree in Paramedicine, Bachelors degree in Fire Science Administration, and Masters degree in Organizational Leadership from Waldorf University. Wheeler has received his Managing Officer certificate from the National Fire Academy, Fire Officer designation from Center for Public Safety Excellence (CPSE), and several fire service and Emergency Medical Service (EMS) certifications at the state and national level. Wheeler is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and is the co-owner of Rogue Training Consulting.
