Shane Carter earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Rollins College and went on to graduate Magna cum Laude from the first graduating class of Palmer College of Chiropractics Florida Campus. Carter also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in General Science and a Master of Business Administration degree. He currently serves as a chiropractor physician within the Orlando Department of Veterans Affairs Multispecialty Outpatient Clinic and formerly served as the Dean of Clinics at Palmer College of Chiropractics Florida Campus. He is a peer reviewer for the Journal of Chiropractic Education and American Journal of Public Health. He believes that chiropractic adjustments incorporated with manual therapies, myofascial techniques, and rehabilitative exercises best serve the patient or athlete. He is certified as a Healthcare Compliance Officer, Athletic Toward Injury Prevention in Sports (TIPS) Instructor, Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehabilitation (FAKTR) Instructor, and contributor to the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress (F4CP). Carter also holds a Fellowship in Acupuncture from the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture (IAMA).
