CASCE ACCREDITATION GRANT

To ease your transition to accreditation and encourage early application, CASCE will fund your accreditation fee and annual fees until 2030 through the new CASCE Accreditation Grant.

Effective October 1, 2023, this grant offsets the cost of achieving accreditation early by funding most fees required to gain and maintain your accreditation before CSCS® prerequisites update in 2030. Programs that move forward in the grant’s first cycle stand to save the most at $15,000 in funded fees.

This grant closes to new programs on December 1, 2027, but will continue to fund pre-approved programs through December 31, 2029.

Accreditation is a two-year process, so we invite your program to apply now to begin your path and take advantage of this financial opportunity. Show prospective students you’re dedicated to a higher standard and ensure their access to the CSCS exam with early adoption.

Does My Program Qualify?

Any strength and conditioning educational program applying for CASCE accreditation is eligible for the CASCE Accreditation Grant. Programs are only eligible for the grant once. If a program fails to obtain accreditation, they will not be eligible for the grant in the future.

What Does the Grant Include?

The CASCE Accreditation Grant incentivizes programs to apply early for accreditation by funding much of the financial cost of achieving and maintaining your accreditation until December 31, 2029:

    • Annual Fees ($1,000/program) required to maintain your accredited status.
    • Accreditation Fees ($5,000/program or $2,500/add’l. program) required to ensure your program remains up to standard.

However, the grant does NOT include the following expenses:

    • Application Fee ($1,000/program or $500/program recognized through the ERP).
    • Deferral Fees if you must extend your deadline through the next application cycle.
      • $250 Self-Study Deferral Fee
      • $1,250 Accreditation Deferral Fee

Limited Availability

Although the grant is available to all applying programs, only a limited number can be processed each cycle, so applying early is strongly encouraged. Applications will be considered on a first come first served basis.

How Do I Apply?

The grant application is seamlessly incorporated into your accreditation application.

    1. Ensure your program is prepared to apply.
    2. Check the CASCE Accreditation Grant box in your digital application.
    3. No further action is required. Your accreditation fee and annual fees will be waived until 2030.

CASCE applications are accepted from October 1 through December 1 annually. If your application is approved to move forward that cycle, the program will be invoiced the application fee; however, the accreditation fee and annual fees will automatically be applied.

The grant will close to new programs after the 2027 cycle.

How Much Can My Program Save?

The sooner your program applies, the more you stand to save. If your application moves forward in the 2023 cycle, your program can save $15,000 over the grant’s duration, in addition to enjoying the prestige of early adoption.
