3:20 PM - 4:20 PM Managing the Training Process of the UFC Athlete During a Fight Camp by Matt Crawley, MS, CSCS,*D, RSCC Preparation for a fight camp entails many details. It's easy to know where you want to go, but how do you get there? There are many ways to skin a cat in the training process, but pre-intra-post testing diagnostics, weekly meetings, and pre-intra-post briefing are not always utilized. Key Performance Indicators play a KEY role in each individualized training program. This session will include the global high performance team dynamic and specialized approach the UFCPI S & C discipline use to prepare a UFC fighter for their big competition day. |
4:20 PM - 5:20 PM Leadership and Motivation for the 21st Century Athlete by Ron McKeefery, MA, CSCS,*D, RSCC*E In this talk Ron will discuss how athletes are different now and how they should be reached.
