8:00 AM - 8:50 AM Building a LTAD Structure by Phil Reichoff, MEd, CSCS In this presentations attendees will be walked through the process of creating a long term physical development system. We will discuss our LTAD Pathway structure, grade level outcomes and curriculum for grades 3-7, followed by a deep dive into our multi-level training program for students grade 8-12. Attendees will be provided with an action plan to build a youth program, including a 5 year plan and facility fundraising. |
9:00 AM - 9:50 AM Movement Considerations for Athletes Returning from ACL Reconstruction Surgery for Soccer by Allison Skufca, CSCS Participants will learn movement protocols for athletes returning from ACL reconstruction from 4 weeks post surgery to being cleared to return back to sport competition. Learn how to re-introduce acceleration and top end speed mechanics for neuromuscular re education and range of motion evaluation. Also learn how to introduce cutting and change of direction drills to emphasize deceleration and transitions out of cuts. |
10:00 AM - 10:50 AM Soft Tissue Manipulation on Athletic Performance by Yaw Baidoo, EdS, CSCS This lecture/hands on presentation will provide coaches with the opportunity to understand the effects of different soft tissue manipulations on an athlete's ability to perform to the best of his/her ability. |
11:00 AM - 11:50 AM Effective Use of Static Stretching in Prehab and Training by Michael Rosengart, CSCS The objective of this presentation is to share information on how, why, and when to use static stretching within a prehab routine or training program based on current literature. |

1:00 PM - 1:50 PM Preparing the Rotational Athlete by Asau Rodriguez, MS, CSCS This hands-on demonstration will look at the needs of a rotational athlete and identify tools and solutions that can be used to address each component. |
2:00 PM - 2:50 PM Fundamentals of Teaching the Olympic Lifts by Stephen Smith, EdD, CSCS, RSCC This hands-on presentation will breakdown the teaching progressions of Olympic Lifting. The presentation will focus on the Clean but we will discuss applications of the Jerk and the Snatch as time permits. Participants will go through the teaching progressions and coaching cues with front squats, RDL's, Clean Pulls, and the Clean. Progressions will begin from mid-thigh and we will discuss the progressions to safely lift from the floor. We will discuss program design and some alternatives when a bar is not available or necessary. |

4:00 PM - 4:50 PM Assessment Procedures and Program Design for Individual Athletes by Ashton King, CSCS The first part of the presentation will describe assessment procedures covering body composition, functional movement, strength, power, and ability to transfer to the field of play. This part also describes different assessments for facilities that do not have the necessary technology. The final part of the presentation will cover how to implement the assessment findings into program design. |
