Kealey Wohlgemuth, MS, CSCS, a part-time graduate instructor and doctoral research assistant at Texas Tech, reflects on the impact of being an NSCA Foundation multi-scholarship recipient:
“I would like to thank the NSCA Foundation for their support of graduate students and I am honored to be recipient of the Women's Scholarship. With this award, it was possible for me to travel to conferences to present data as well as learn from other professionals in the field.”
"We are thrilled to see such a strong response from our members. The dedication and passion demonstrated by these individuals are truly inspiring. Our scholarship recipients represent the future of our profession, and we are honored to support their educational and professional journeys," states Scott Caulfield, NSCA Foundation President.
"The selection process was incredibly competitive, with many outstanding candidates. We are excited to support these deserving recipients as they pursue their goals. Their achievements and aspirations align perfectly with the mission of the NSCA Foundation to enhance the strength and conditioning profession through education and research," adds Carissa Gordon Gum, NSCA Foundation Executive Director.
"We would like to thank our sponsors, GymAware and Hammer Strength, and NSCA Foundation donors for their support in making these scholarships possible."
