Colorado Springs, CO – The NSCA Foundation, a leading organization dedicated to advancing strength and conditioning practices, is pleased to announce its new leadership team, effective July 16, 2023. The Board of Directors has re-elected Dr. Don Melrose as President, appointed Scott Caulfield as Vice President, and confirmed Dr. Ludmila Cosio Lima's continued role as Treasurer. Additionally, Dr. Kristen Snyman has transitioned from Vice President to Secretary, Dr. Jay Dawes will serve as the NSCA Liaison, Kevin Farley will continue his role as Public Member, and Dr. David Heikkinen will join the Board of Directors.
Dr. Don Melrose, will begin his second one-year term as President of the NSCA Foundation. With a wealth of knowledge and experience, Dr. Melrose is committed to leading the organization toward new heights.
Scott Caulfield joins the board as Vice President, Dr. Dave Heikkinen as a member, both bringing extensive expertise in strength and conditioning and a passion for advancing the profession.
Dr. Ludmila Cosio Lima continues to serve the NSCA Foundation as Treasurer, marking her second term on the board and fourth year in this critical role.
Dr. Kristen Snyman, having previously served as Vice President, has transitioned into the role of Secretary taking over for outgoing Board Member Ashley Jackson.
Dr. Jay Dawes, appointed as the NSCA Liaison and voting member by the NSCA Board of Directors, will bring valuable insights and expertise from his vast experience in strength and conditioning research and practice.
Kevin Farley, the Public Member of the board, embarks on the second year of his first term, leveraging his unique perspective and experience in the nonprofit sector.
