NSCA Leadership and Diversity Training Program Application

The purpose of the NSCA Leadership and Diversity Training Program is to prepare and position students and professional members from underrepresented groups for participation in NSCA volunteer activities that will lead to increased retention, service and leadership opportunities.

Please complete this form as part of the application process. Two letters of reference are also required.

Please describe how you intend to grow in the strength and conditioning profession and contribute to the diversity, equity, and inclusion of the field. Include in this description any specific goals you have for advancing in leadership within the NSCA (limit 500 words).

ACKNOWLEDGMENT:

If accepted, I will:

  • Attend NSCA’s National Conference July 8 - 11, 2026. If I find I am not able to commit to these requirements, then I will not agree to participate in the program.
  • Receive travel expenses (up to $600) associated with the leadership program.
  • Learn about NSCA’s volunteer leadership structure.
  • If asked, play a role in recruiting other students of diverse backgrounds into the profession and have an important role in enhancing NSCA membership.
